In just over the past year, through donations provided solely by our members, and with zero dollars used for administration fees, JuntosSRQ have distributed over $150,000 to the needy in the Sarasota community area.

Where It Goes
None of this is a one-off drive. These are the same three programs our members have funded and run themselves, year after year, since 2005 — 21 years of showing up for the same community.

Provided $125 per person to 117 children and heads of families for Christmas presents they would never have been able to give or receive.

Provided $125 per person in Detweiler’s grocery cards to help provide food for Christmastime for those same families.

$10,000 was granted to the Safe Children Coalition of Sarasota Youth Shelter Capital Fund, which is constructing a safe shelter for youths-at-risk in our community, which was earmarked for 100% to go into the construction fund, with no administrative fees taken against it.

12 women off the streets
Provided $100,000 through a special capital donation to fund the renovation of a new women’s home for Second Heart Homes, that took 12 young homeless women off the streets of Sarasota.

Supported The Haven in Sarasota, which offers programs and services for children and adults with disabilities to enhance their quality of life, with a $2500 donation.

Provided $1000 in diapers and food assistance for one of our special needs families for a 13-year-old blind, autistic, brain cancer child confined to a wheelchair and unable to care for himself.

after Hurricane Milton
Via special donations, funded the $7100+ repair of a carport for our local missionary, Doris Schweppe, after her uninsurable carport attached to her mobile home was destroyed during Milton.
